We are happy to introduce the new and revolutionary EDM18N II type, a fully digital automatic sliding door operator from Daihatsu Diesel NHN Corp. This model incorporates very many high tech features which allow easy installation, minimum service, safe operation and a long reliable life.
The model has been designed with both installer and user in mind.
The benefits for the installer are easy mounting with all parts fixing into the rail or header from the front, this also allows quick door hanging, ample lateral and vertical door adjustment, easy belt connection and tension adjustment and final installation tuning with minimum operational adjustments to setup, as all EDM18N II control boxes are partially factory preset.
The real useful benefits for the user are reliable operation, long memory retention, also via an LED (Light Emitting Diode) on the control box, allows feedback on historical operational data as well as a opening cycle counter which allows users to track volume of traffic using the automatic door and also helps the user identify, most active entrance or exit points.
This standard feature is most valuable when supermarkets or department stores need to position point of sale promotional items at highest used pedestrian traffic routes.
The EDM18N II is ecological friendly with a partial opening feature as standard, this unique function is able to determine the volume of pedestrian traffic using the door at any time and will adjust automatically from partial open, to fully open and back again to partial open to suit the increase or decrease in traffic, thereby saving valuable and expensive heating or air conditioning costs. Once the door is closed it is automatically & constantly 'press closed' to eliminate any gap at the door edge. As an additional power saving feature, the LED display on the control box is able to 'switch off' if the automatic door is unused for over 2 minutes, but will switch on again immediately when the automatic door is next used.
EDM18N II is available with a range of option add-on items which can offer both additional secure and safe operation. We offer 2 types of locks to provide both fail lock and fail unlock conditions (LK1 & LK2), as well as a battery system (BO) which can power the automatic door to either closed or open position in an power outage situation.
Finally to meet all possible secure and safe scenario's, we offer a combined battery and lock system (BOLK1 or BOLK2), which can provide unlocking and full opening on an escape route or alternatively full closed and locking on required high secure installations.
